This Shoot will be a Speed and Accuracy Event
Any non-magnum caliber handgun, rimfire rifle or Pistol caliber center fire rifle.
Starting behind Table 1 with Rifle bolt locked open and ONE magazine loaded with SIX rounds on the table. On sound of Buzzer, load and charge the rifle. Engage Targets #1, #2, #3 with TWO rounds each. These are hostage targets, and there will be a two second penalty for hitting a hostage. When finished, rifle must be cleared, bolt open, show clear to RSO, then proceed to Table 2.
At table 2, where you previously placed your pistol, slide open and magazine loaded to capacity. With timer still running, load and release slide, then engage Target #4 from BEHIND table 2 with 2 rounds. Move behind barricade #1 and from behind barricade, engage targets #5 and #6 with TWO rounds each. Move to Barricade #2 and engage Target #7 from the RIGHT side with TWO rounds, then from LEFT side. Engage targets #8 and #9 with Two rounds on each target.
When finished, unload and show clear (holster if possible), before heading back to Table 1 to case and retrieve rifle, then, if necessary, case handgun.
Please note, this match requires you to know how your firearm functions and may require a reload or two. Have your magazine(s) ready. Please! Gun handling safety is required at all times, especially MUZZLE DOWNRANGE.
Round count for each String is 18 rounds. We will shoot this event two times with all shooters shooting String 1 first and when String 1 is completed, we will shoot String 2.
You can shoot this stage as many times as we have time for. Bring plenty of ammo, and make sure your firearms are sighted in and are functional. Check in at the Clubhouse. Match fee is $10.00 for all shooters except 15 and under. If the bay is muddy, we cancel the match. Check the club website www.redcliffsrange.com for range status or call us.
Dress accordingly, bring chairs and a table if you have them. Be sure to bring liquids. No alcoholic drinks.
