Saturday, December 23, 2023 Starting at 10:00am We will be shooting in Bay A-3
NOTE: Bay A-3. This course of fire will be for .22 LR caliber rifles or pistol, and Centerfire handguns or Pistol Caliber Carbines.
Welcome to the Jungle Steel Match!
This match will be shot from a single shooters box at an array of 11 steel plates that vary in size from 18”x24” to 12” round and 12”x12” square. They vary in distance from no less than 10 yards, to no more than 20 yards.
This match will require one mandatory magazine change at the location in the array of your choice. High cap magazines are permitted. Each shooter will shoot 3 separate strings. Your score will be the total of all three strings combined. We will keep track of misses, but there will be no time penalty. Make-up shots are permitted if you miss a plate. This match is intended to encourage you to shoot accurately and effectively. If shooters want, they can shoot each string with a different firearm or shoot all strings with the same firearm.
We will run all shooters through once. Then repeat for a second time and then for a third time. This will allow for more even shooting time for all as well as a break in between strings for mag loading etc. All shooters will begin from low ready. No drawing from a holster, although you may bring your firearm to the line in a holster. Pistols and rifles in non-magnum calibers are welcome. (Again, no Magnum calibers.) The round count for this match will be a minimum of 33 rounds. We can continue to shoot until everyone has had enough.
Match fee is $10.00 for all shooters except 15 and under.

If the bay is muddy, we cancel the match. Check the RCRP Range website www.redcliffsrange.com for status. Bring liquids & dress accordingly. Also bring chairs and a small table if you have them.
