FUN Shoot
Saturday, September 9th, 2023 - Starting Time: 8:00am
NOTE: This course of fire will be for .22 LR caliber rifles or pistol, and Centerfire handguns or pistol caliber carbines. Start with a Magazine loaded with 10 rounds.
First Stage Event. We will shoot this stage on eight (8) steel plates. You will shoot this string of fire Four times.
Each string of fire will be timed. You will begin each string with a firearm loaded with 10 rounds. A two second Penalty for any misses after a string has been fired. Your score will be the total of the four strings fired.
Second Stage Event will be rapid fire shooting on two 12” steel plate. Distance to be determined. You will load 5 rounds in your magazines and shoot two strings of fire on the first plate. Then on the second plate you will fire two strings of fire at a different distance. You will be timed for each 5 shot string of fire. (Four strings for a total of 20 rounds)
Please make sure your firearms are sighted in and will function with the ammo for that gun with no stoppages. Have your mags loaded with no more than 10 Rounds before the First Stage before you start your course of fire. (Five rounds each Mag. for the Second Stage.) Four mags would be nice. You will need at least two mags, and we will get a volunteer to load empty mags for you if needed.
We can continue to shoot until everyone has had enough. Match Fee is $10.00 for all shooters, except those 15 and younger. PLEASE SIGN IN & PAY AT THE OFFICE. Shooting Bay will be determined at that time.
If the bay is muddy, we cancel the match. Check the Range’s website www.redcliffsrange.com before driving out. Bring plenty of liquids & dress accordingly. Bring chairs and a small table if you have them.
