Concealed Carry Handguns

PLEASE SIGN IN AT THE OFFICE BEFORE COMING TO BAY A3. Match fee is $10.00 for all shooters except 18 and under. 

I would really appreciate two or three volunteers to help me set up the stages at 7:30 AM. Please call me if you can help.

NOTE: This fun Shoot will be oriented toward shooting CONCEALED CARRY GUNS. So if you have a concealed carry permit and carry your firearms, this shoot is designed to learn and practice shooting skills applicable to CCW use.

You are welcome to bring other handguns in .22LR or non-magnum centerfire. Red dot sights and lasers are welcome. You do not need a carry permit to participate in this Shoot.

For this shoot we will be shooting at SIX different scenarios. (See accompanying chart below). Please be sure your firearm will function with the ammo you plan on using. You will be encouraged to draw from your carry holster for all stages, but we are not going to use carry concealed garments for safety reasons. If you prefer, you can also start from a low ready position rather than draw from a holster. Round Count for the six stages is 31 Rounds. Five of the events will be at ranges from 1 Yard to 10 Yards on IDPA or similar cardboard targets. The 6th stage will be a steel target at 20 yards.

Each stage will require 6 rounds or less. Please bring as many mags for semi-autos and guns and speed-loaders for revolvers as you have. Each stage will be timed and each shooter. Again for safety reasons, we ask that you only load your magazines with enough rounds for that stage. If necessary we will ask a volunteer to load mags for you.

Hopefully it will be a nice day, but bring drinks, a chair if you have one. If lousy weather, the bays may be closed, so check the club website or call me to see if the match had to be cancelled.
