We will be shooting on Bay A3.

It will get warmer, so we are trying to beat the heat buildup.
NOTE: Bay A3. This course of fire will be for .22 LR caliber rifles or pistol, and Centerfire handguns or pistol caliber carbines,
Start with magazines loaded with 10 rounds. If you finish hitting all 6 plates before running out of ammo, place the gun on SAFE, finger OFF the trigger, firearm pointed downrange, remove existing mag, leave unfired round in the chamber, and reload fresh mag at the command of the RO.
This shoot will be on THREE racks of steel targets. One six-plate rack of 4” wide, 1/2 size of bowling pin shaped steel. Second rack is 6” round steel plates, and the last string of fire on the club’s 10” plates. Shooters will start on the club’s plates, stop when finished and reload for the 6” rack, then reload and finish on the 10” rack. Each rack set will be timed. One second penalty for any plates left standing.
You will have the option of shooting the plates in the opposite direction if desired. Be sure the timer and scorekeeper know what plate set you are starting on.
Three magazines would be best, if you only have two mags for your gun, arrange for someone to load a mag for you.
Make sure your firearm is sighted in and will function reliably with the ammo you are using. I’m going to bring an awning to shoot under to get out of the sun.
We can continue to shoot until everyone has had enough.
If the bay is muddy, we cancel the match. Bring plenty of liquids & dress accordingly, bring chairs and a small table if you have them.
