New Notice: We will be shooting .223 or 5.56 Calibers firearms in this match. And, rifles in 22LR or Pistol Calibers are also welcome.
November 9th, Saturday. 10:AM, in the Shooting Bays, We have scheduled an event that will combine Handgun and Rifle skills on a set of targets set at different distances.
NOTE: This match will be shot on cardboard IDPA targets. Bring your AR-15 Style Rifle (or any semi-auto) but only in 5.56 Nato or .223 Rem., or if you prefer, 22LR or Pistol calibers. We will also shoot handguns in non- magnum calibers. You are welcome to bring your friends.
We will have targets set up at 10 and 15 yards for handguns, and 50 yards for Rifles. We will be timing four or five strings of fire for each stage. Please bring at least two (2) magazines for each gun. Five would be best.
Round count will be 50 handgun, 30 rifle for one Stage of fire if we shoot five strings of fire for each stage. Depending on how many shooters we have, we may be able to shoot a second stage if you want and to use different firearms.
Match will be held on one of the Outside Bays by the classroom. You can register online or at the match. Match fee is $5.00 for members, $8.00 for non- members. Sign in will be at the Bays.
