Range Safety Officer Class

Dan Briggs, our Chief Range Safety Officer, has scheduled a Range Safety Officer Class for:           Saturday November 17th, 2018 from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

Class will be held in the conference room at :  Redcliffs Range Classroom

I know that a few of you have been waiting patiently for this day to come.  Well here it is.  Hopefully you will be able to arrange your schedules to be able to take this class. - Dan Briggs, Chief RSO 

This is an NRA Certification Class as a Range Safety Officer.

1.   The cost of the class is $100.00, which covers all materials needed for the class.

2.   This class is needed if you want to serve at Redcliffs Rifle & Pistol Range as a Range Safety Officer.                                                                    

3.   After finishing the class you will have to pay for your Credentials Certificate at the NRA website, where you registered for the class. http://www.nrainstructors.org/Search.aspx                                                    

4.   I believe it is good for two years before you need to renew it.**

As a Range Safety Officer you are also allowed to go to the range during days and hours it is not open to the public and shoot.                                                Only Range Safety Officers have this privilege.

Please make sure you have completed and signed an RSO application and sent it along with a current CCW card and NRA card to the Membership Chairperson, Christine Fladrich. . **NOTE: All (non NRA Members) first time instructors, Coaches, and Range Safety Officers pay a flat credentialing fee of $50 for a 2 year term. Additional ratings can be added at a rate of $20 per rating and renewals are $50 for a 2 year term regardless of how many ratings are being renewed.
NRA Members credentialing fees are $30 for a 2 year term and additional ratings can be added at $10 per rating.
Trainers who have both instructor and Coach Credentials expiring in different months/years will have the closest date rolled up to the farthest date for your renewal cycle.
