Shooting Firearms at Night
Anybody interested in some night shooting at the Red Cliffs Range?
Saturday night, Oct. 12, 2019 Start 7:00 PM
We will set up some steel and paper targets on one of the training bays and fire handguns (non-magnum on steel) and using firearm mounted lasers and/or handheld lights. Pistol caliber (non-magnum) rifles are OK.
If you have tritium powered night sights and/or flashlights on your firearms, you could get some practice using them. Firearms with lasers are also welcome.
We would start about 7:00 PM (Sunset) and start shooting around 7:45 PM (end of twilight) when it starts getting dark. Its get dark around 7:45 PM and we would probably stop shooting by 10:00 PM. Please come a bit early to get your gears set up on the tables.
At 7:15 PM, there would be a short introduction to night shooting and use of flashlights, lasers ,maybe some demonstrations. For safety reasons, we will organize ourselves in Pairs, one person shooting, one watching, loading mags, etc and they can take turns shooting. There will be 7 lanes to shoot from, so I would like to keep the maximum numbers of shooters to 14.
To help offset costs, we would appreciate each shooter contribute $10.00. Youth, adults, seniors, ladies, club members and their visitors get a $1.00 discount.
