If working on the roof doesn't appeal to you, we did get ten new target stands that need to be set up!
I would like to thank everyone who came two weeks ago Monday to get a great start on the roof over the picnic tables. It was a lot more work than I thought it would be. Once it got started and the plan was finalized it went really good though. Next Monday, the 28th, we need to finish the project. Here is what is still left to do.
1. Lay Tarpaper and flashing on top of plywood roof.
2. Hang cross bracing between joists, 2 x 4's
3. Screw down galvanized roof material.
My friend who painted the baffles with his airless sprayer, has agreed to come any evening and paint the underside of the new roof as soon as it is done. So we have no painting to be done by us now. It really would be great to have this done before the Senior Games.
If you think you can help with this please register for this event so we know who will be helping finish this up. We do need to finish by the Huntsman World Senior Games, which gives us two more Mondays to get it all finished.
As usual, power screwdrivers and extra batteries, old paint brushes, and if anyone has an airless paint sprayer that would be a huge help.
